About us

The South African Coalition for the International Criminal Court (SACICC) was established in 2000 as a collective of volunteers who came together to promote the establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Since the establishment of the ICC in July 2002, we have successfully advocated and lobbied for the ratification and implementation of the ICC in South Africa.

SACICC is currently hosted by the Indiba-Africa Group. We are hopeful that with new Board members, sufficient funds and resources, we will be able to establish SACICC as a wholly indpendent organisation with a new governance structure. Accordingly we are seeking new Board members able, willing and committed to taking SACICC on a new trajectory against impunity in the SADC region.
